Parallel universe well i saw myself in a parallel life but i was powerless to make a change seemed that i was doing ok but some things were rearranged I woke up next morning With you on the phone Whining That your team had lost But that wasn’t the match That I hadstreamed Wondering what game You had watched Chorus And we’re living in Another universe Take 57 But nothing is rehearsed And the script says That you know yer part For the Harder they Fall Starring Humphrey Bogart Verse So I got out of bed And turned on the news The anchor said It’s April 1 but who’s a fool And with the sky coloured green And a star’s net worth It was plain to see Someone invaded earth And this helped me To tune on in Coz otherwise I’d have been hard pressed To make any sense Of what yu were saying’ Without feeling, feeling stressed Chorus And we’re living in Another universe Take 57 But nothing is rehearsed And the script says That you know yer part For the Harder they Fall Starring Humphrey Bogart Verse well i saw myself in a parallel life but i was powerless to make a change seemed that i was doing ok but some things were rearranged Middle 8 And I’m in a parallel life In a parallel universe In a parallel world And it’s all unrehearsed Just gotta go with the flow And make yer own mojo It’s a brave new world Someone invaded earth Chorus And we’re living in Another universe Take 57 But nothing is rehearsed And the script says That you know yer part For the Harder they Fall Starring Humphrey Bogart Original Steve Blaque Lyric

I'm a Man 04:28
I'm a Man Spencer Davis Group Well, my pad is very messy And there's whiskers on my chin And I'm all hung up on music And I always play to win I ain't got no time for lovin' 'Cause my time is all used up Just to sit around creatin' All that groovy kind of stuff But I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so But I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so Well, if I had my choice of matter I would rather be with cats All engrossed in mental chatter Movin' where our minds are at And relatin' to each other Just how strong our wills can be I'm resisting all involvement With each groovy chick we see Well, I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so But I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so I got to keep my image While suspended from a throne That looks out upon a kingdom Full of people all unknown Who imagine I'm not human And my heart is made of stone I never had no problems And my toilet's trimmed with chrome I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so, no no I'm a man, yes I am And I can't help But love you so Yes I am (no, no, no) I need you so bad(yeah) Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do Yes I do

Heroes 05:49
Heroes I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can beat them, just for one day We can be heroes, just for one day And you, you can be mean And I, I'll drink all the time 'Cause we're lovers, and that is a fact Yes we're lovers, and that is that Though nothing will keep us together We could steal time just for one day We can be heroes for ever and ever What d'you say? I, I wish you could swim Like the dolphins, like dolphins can swim Though nothing, nothing will keep us together We can beat them, for ever and ever Oh we can be Heroes, just for one day I, I will be king And you, you will be queen Though nothing will drive them away We can be Heroes, just for one day We can be us, just for one day I, I can remember (I remember) Standing, by the wall (by the wall) And the guns, shot above our heads (over our heads) And we kissed, as though nothing could fall (nothing could fall) And the shame, was on the other side Oh we can beat them, for ever and ever Then we could be Heroes, just for one day We can be Heroes We can be Heroes We can be Heroes Just for one day We can be Heroes We're nothing, and nothing will help us Maybe we're lying, then you better not stay But we could be safer, just for one day Oh-oh-oh-ohh, oh-oh-oh-ohh, just for one day David Bowie

about

The Album The Concreter originally started back in June 2022 loosely based on covering the songs I used to play acoustically 2018-2020 though now more within a band vibe. Along the way there were additional songs added and then some original tracks that were written during the recording of the project.

Originally it was intended to be about 8-10 songs, but things kinda moved in different directions and it became the best laid plans of mice n' men as i rediscovered an interest in being in the studio. Somehow though things slowed down again and by early in '23 I began to think that the album would never get released.

What I didn't realize though was that song count had climbed to about 31 songs and that it would have to be three or even four albums to be completed, In fact that's how it played out and this album The Concreter is the first to leave the production line.

DKK Studios where i've recorded all the work has undergone many changes, both in software and in hardware, and that this album in particular is an effort to incorporate all of these changes into a coherent volume. I think I was able to get there, but that ultimately listeners will decide.

Anyways The Concreter lives from it's release date of September 26/27 '23 and three more volumes will follow in October and November..
If you take time to listen then I hope it brings good vibes and mojo.
