Another of my fave performance pieces. This track I remember 'decoding' on my Beijing 6th floor balcony as far back as April 2011. I'd just moved digs n' was preparing material for the duo I was playing with at the time called Blaque and Blunt. The arrangement made on that balcony has stood the test of time and that's the same arrangement we hear in this track.
I'd reached out to a friend (Josh Storm) based in Spain to play some guitar on this track and despite it being a killer solo I couldn't use because the recording quality glitches. T'was a real pity coz it was something, and in the end i had to roll myself and hopefully do something worthy for the song. I pulled out some slide guitar something I rarely do and the recording will reveal whether it was good enough or not. What was cool was that i really enjoyed playing slide again.
