about

Recorded Mixed and Mastered at Dkk Studio St Marys Tasmania.
Recording took place from late 2022 into 2023.
Mastering took place in December 2023

The song was introduced to me late in 2022 while i was busily recording another album. It was captivating to listen to and so i thought I would try and record it in the studio.

This then is the result of those sessions.

Originally recorded by Zambian outfit Amanaz
with songwriters
Isaac Mpofu / Keith Kabwe

lyrics

Hello, Khala my friend
Where do you think you're going to?
And the road you're taking
It has no end
Khala my friend, come back to me
Khala my friend, 'cause I'm gonna miss you
Khala my friend
The world is full of misery
And the road you've taken
There is no end
Khala my friend, come back to me
Khala my friend, 'cause I'm gonna miss you
Hello, Khala my friend
Where do you think you're going to?
And the road you've taking
There is no end
Khala my friend, come back to me
Khala my friend, 'cause I'm gonna miss you
Khala my friend
The world is full of misery
And the road you've taking
There is no end
Khala my friend, come back to me
Khala my friend, 'cause I'm gonna miss you
