Hollywood Lies

from the sublime disorder by Steve BLaque

/

about

written in beijing in 2006 this piece was about the idea of having a film made post your demise and what the film would look like and who could play ''your part'. the macabre part of this is that it was written before a late flight on a friday out of beijing, always a flight i never liked to take because it was going to be dark and the idea of flying on a friday never has excited me, so in this piece i was letting my edge spill onto paper and guitar. i reckon it was done n' dusted inside an hour and to this day if only 'all songs could be like that, then how much easier would life be.
