about

This was one of the hardest tracks on the album. The story had begun innocently enough with a woman who I'd met and was messing with at the time.It was all simple web based chatting as I was playing. Wells out of a relationship I thought nothing about chatting up a woman online, since to me it was embracing the way of life. It was mid 2009 when the track started and Ice FLow studios had become available to me to work exclusively but within confined times because a couple were living downstairs. As luck would have it, I was staying with friends who dind't do any mary jane, but I had a stash n' so the only way to really get a buzz was to duck to the studios and get loaded. Pretty simple, and that's what I would do...and work from about 8pm (socially polite to leave my hosts place) and return after they'd gone to bed, so it was a win win for me....the early part of the song was triggered from a keyboard idea and at that time there was a korg 88 key synth and it gave me the piano sound i was looking for.....so the woman before I'd hit the studio was still floatin' around in my life, but I wells knew her mindset were a poultice apart and the music, which initially had no lyric began to take shape around lyrics I was making up from my dates with the girl. ..It made for hard playing to her as she would come around to the studio and I would simply say oh, it's about multiculturalism or something like that.......i mean how could I could I tell her I'd written an anti love song about her.....might have lead to disastrous outcomes....bobbit ...can't recall that dudes name still comes to mind....but the shit in the song is me and the events takin' place between me n' her.....i loved the harmonic arrangements of this song....i wasn't getting everything right and that's plain to see n' hear, but ti's about getting more right than wrong and apart from one vocal cringe where my normally 'thin voice' is just horrible...you'll hear if you go to hear the song...but apart from that cringe moment I was pretty happy here....all the track was finalized at Ice Flow.
