Sex Bomb was a song that I always loved and began performing in 2012 with the duo Charlotte Lowe. It was also recorded for their 2013 Album Give me 8, which I produced at Forbidden City Studio in 2013. I didn't ever perform it solo, but wanted to and the closest I got was this version which I decided to roll with for this album. I think the thing that I dug in the original version of the song by Tom Jones was the key change at the end of the song. Not being a natural singer it took some time for me to get it right...but in the end I was happy with the honesty in what I was trying to do....of course there was a lot of guitar in there coz that's how I was hearing it....and it is after all a 'guitar album'.....that's my argument anyways.
